GEORGIAN COUNTRY HOME
KITCHEN
This elegant Georgian country house kitchen was transformed from a dark, dated space into a light-filled room designed for modern family living while remaining sympathetic to the character of the home. The design focused on enhancing natural light and creating a brighter, more welcoming atmosphere without compromising the kitchen's timeless appeal.
Additional lighting was carefully integrated throughout the space, while bespoke illuminated open shelving replaced traditional wall cabinets to introduce both display and ambient light. A glazed tiled splashback wraps the room, complemented by subtly metallic wallcoverings that gently reflect light and add depth. Thoughtfully selected finishes, furniture and styling complete a kitchen that feels fresh, elegant and effortlessly functional.
GRAND ENTRANCE & HALL
The entrance hall of this Georgian country house was reimagined to create a striking first impression that celebrates the property's architectural heritage. Extensive structural preparation allowed the installation of solid Versailles-style parquet flooring, providing a timeless foundation for the scheme.
A dramatic chinoiserie wallcovering creates a memorable focal point, while a statement chandelier introduces warmth and elegance. Reinstated decorative cornicing echoes the botanical detailing within the wallpaper, bringing cohesion to the space. Carefully selected antiques and bespoke styling complete an entrance hall that feels both grand and welcoming.
DINING ROOM
Designed within a Grade II listed Georgian home, this dining room balances historic character with a sophisticated, contemporary approach to country living. Every element was chosen to complement the building's original architecture while creating a warm and inviting space for entertaining.
A striking marble fireplace forms the heart of the room, framed by a palette of rich, muted tones, beautifully crafted furniture and layered textures. Statement lighting enhances the architectural detailing and creates an intimate atmosphere, while carefully curated furnishings and accessories complete a dining room that feels elegant, timeless and perfectly at home within its historic setting.
